Food for the factory

View from the Luukkaansalmi to UPM Kaukas timber intergration. In this factory is produced paper for many worldwide magazines such as Elle. In the same area are also located big sawmill, pulp factory, bioenergy plant and research and development center. It provides work for around 4000 local people. Wood is delivered for the factory by trains, trucks, ships and by this traditional rafts 24/7.
