Oktoberfest in August

Today it is in Bavaria a holiday, Christi Himmelfahrt - Ascension of Christ, this holiday is not in all areas of Germany , but only in catholic ones.
Bavaria has more holiydays than the rest of Germany.
Unfortunately I had to work, but only in the afternoon.
During the breakfast I thought about going to look what is going on with the Oktoberfest.
It is always a special atmosphere the days before it starts and we call it "Vorwiesn"
( before Wiesn or before Oktoberfest) and you already can sit and have some beer
and a bavarian snack.
At the moment they are building up the big tents.
