Temporary measures

I, and everyone else working in the same large room, have been moved into a different large room - the new one has more windows and is generally in better condition, but is on the second floor, whereas the old one was on the third and had a great view across town. Also the new one doesn't have a proper kitchen, so the teamaking area has a sense of makeshift transience about it which can perhaps be detected in the disposition of these spoons. I noticed them while standing about waiting for the kettle to boil and liked the unplanned but somehow deliberate looking arrangement of them all on the piece of kitchen roll which gives them a slightly sculptural quality, or maybe I'd been staring at spreadsheets for too long.
