Pacific

We've settled in Tofino, on the west coast of Vancouver Island, for the next 2-3 days. It's about a four-hour drive from where we were yesterday, but a dramatic change of scenery, which I'll look forward to discovering.

We arrived late after a couple of stops on the way, including to an amazing rain forest area appropriately called the Cathedral Trail, which features trees as old as 800 years. Rather impressive.

Have not explored much of our new locale yet, except for the beach area right in front of our hotel. The view is wonderful and I'm looking forward to falling asleep to the sound of the surf :)
