BAGAN

Lie in this morning except when we got up as there was no electricity so we were absolutely boiling. We hired a bike and had brunch at bamboo cafe. We are so shocked with the amount of nice restaurants here as in Bagan there were literally none. At Bamboo Cafe we watched a cat jump onto a chair with disgusting stuff on it's tail. It was then sick next to Morag and then walked closer to me and had diahorrea. It was pretty disgusting watching whilst we were munching our food. Organised to get E bikes tomorrow which are electric bikes. Going to go around the temples on them. We then went and treated ourselves to a pedicure as our feet are a itsy bit dirty. They did them well but we both have such tickley feet we couldn't stop laughing when they scrubbed our feet. It was probably the most painful pedicure I have ever had. Cycled back, I was so tired...probably the extra weight from eating everything!!
Lazed around for quite a long time and sorted out emails, shower...etc We then went cycled to get supper. Couldn't get up the hill so we had to walk. We had I ask for a pump for the bike when we got there as we actually had a completely flat tire so I wasn't actually as unfit as I thought! We went to quite a cool restaurant with cool Chinese/Indian lights. At the end they gave us these bizarre sweets with the bill. We 'slyly' took them all. However, Morag was the most un sly about it ever!! Cycled to a little shop. That is basic of the basic! We found lots of strange little snacks for tomorrows picnic we are going to have. Biscuits, chocolate oreo things, chocolate cookies, their 'traditional' crisps, rice paper, peanuts, milk wafers. Cycled back...soooo much easier!
