Top of the world
Jeep safari today, about four hours spent in a Suzuki Jimny going up and down what were little more than goat tracks at times - trust me, I have photos of the goats (they used the parked jeeps to climb on to reach the higher leaves - sly huh?)
The scenery was incredible, although tricky to photograph because we were instructed* to hang on to the jeep at ALL times in case the jeep hit a bump/rock/hole and we got flung out (and then mown down by the next jeep...) fortunately there were stops along the route and a lunch break too of course.
An adventurous last day in the sun, back to the unpredictable northern european weather & reality tomorrow...
* by Doris, our scary German crew member, who really fell out with the group of 5 Italians lads who on the way back down compounded their sins (bad driving (can you imagine the scene, a German woman trying to tell young Italian guy that his driving was not up to par...) leaving too big a gap, driving in flipflops, not speaking/understanding either English of German) by almost burning out the clutch of their jeep.
