Kathy and her Mom

We arrived at McGuire Air Force Base sometime after 10 pm.

First thing in the morning we rented a car and headed up to my brother’s house in New Jersey.

It is such a treat to spend some time and share lunch with him and my niece.

Then we were off to Middletown, Connecticut to visit Kathy’s Mom.

It has been a year since our last get together.

This trip is sort of “spur of the moment” and Kathy’s Mom had only 24 hours notice that we were going to arrive at her door.

What a treat for all of us.
