Saturday sightseeing!
Kitano-cho is a historic district containing many houses from the Meji era of Japanese history. Whilst many continue to be used as residences many more are open as tourist attractions, making this area one of the principal tourist attractions in Kobe. Scattered through out the area are plenty of sculptures and street art such as this one, many with a jazz theme
It pays to visit early to avoid both the crowds and the heat. The woofer still managed to make himself something of an attraction for a bus load of Korean tourists who arrived just as we were leaving. Happy weekend Blippers!
The camera makes everyone a tourist in other people's reality, and eventually in one's own.
