Meet the band

Finished early today to get back in time to collect the tickets for this weekends Fringe fest.
J came back from work late leaving us 20 minutes to get to the Pleasant’s Dome for the first show.
Managed to the Pleasant’s courtyard just in time to find out that the Dome is by the Udderbelly. Quick dash over meant that we just caught the back of the line going in. Good job they were running 10 minutes late.

First up was the Noise Next Door. A great improv singing group. Saw them a couple of years ago for the first time and they seem to have got even better. Its not everyday you hear a made up song about a drunk driver. The group member who was forced to make up the song, it seemed, had lost his license a while ago. Harsh and seemed to touch a slight nerve for some reason.

Next was a wonder over to Hotel Du Vin for a pint and then waited for Ali McGregor's show. This year it’s more of a cabaret act as she is heavily pregnant.
Her singing was just as good as last year and she had Craig Hill, a couple of German singers and a burlesque act on.

Craig Hill was as good as ever, The German couple were not great and the Burlesque act was good but not the most endowed we have seen.

Just before the show started I took a couple of photos of the band, well 2/3 of them, in a hope that it would come out OK.
