Emerald Damselfly
Back-blipping today as we were out all yesterday evening having dinner with some lovely friends. I squeezed in a short visit to the disused rail line before we had to leave, but didn't have time to check whether there were any decent shots amongst all the plant and butterfly photos a had madly grabbed. Today, I was surprised to see a couple of shots of this tiny male Emerald Damselfly that had worked quite well. This is not a species I've photographed before. Indeed, I've had little joy generally with this group of insects. I must seek them out more.
