Fossil Hunting

[Back blip - finally catching up after holiday]

Spent the day at The Royal Tyrrell Museum, which is a huge dinosaur museum to the east of Calgary. The collection is incredible.

In the afternoon we went on a guided walk through the badlands, to a spot where there were fossils to be found. I had hoped we'd be able to keep anything interesting but apparently there's a massive fine and jail sentence for removing anything, so we decided that it might not be worth it for a piece of fossilised wood!
