Alexander Bluebird coach

The dogs and I wandered up to the park this afternoon, not to chase balls, but to have a shufti at the Balfron Gala Day attractions. There wasn't much to see.

This old Alexander Bluebird bus was attracting quite a bit of attention from the public, mostly the older generation, who tend to like a bit of nostalgia. There were people sitting inside the bus, probably to soak up the smell of the leather seating. Not only does the bus company no longer exist, but the destination of this one, Killearn Hospital, is long gone too.

The Hot Dogs don't pose at weekends, but I just had to grab my camera when they came to tell me it was teatime! Look at Dudley's ears!!! (I had nothing to do with them being that way!)
