Long weekend: afternoon at the pool

We decided to something a bit holiday-ish today and different for us and so after shopping at our local market this morning, headed up to the pool complex about a 15 min walk away. In summer it's partly open air and in winter it closes over. There are Olympic length swimming lanes, two big shallow areas for wee ones, jacuzzi and massage pools (the play areas we call them!), as well as big swimming areas, which aren't in lanes. As well as lots of sunbeds, loungers and sunshades. We surveyed the land, got our sunbeds and shade and set up camp. I then moved into logistical planning mode - when should we go for lunch and where, what should we leave on the beds to reserve them and what would be better in the locker? Should I get my cozzie wet before lunch, meaning then having to dry it off or get changed for lunch? Bb plonked himself on the sunbed, read his Car magazine and then went for a swim....too much time in Rio on his own methinks! I did swim before lunch and we had tapas at Monchos, just 3 mins away and then a siesta by the pools in the afternoon. Nice day!
