Get a Handel on it...

Another busy but relaxing day...

Went for a run, houseguest arrived, lunch, pick your own (closed), farm shop, another farm shop, Witley Court (including the crypt, the church and the tea room!), plundered a neighbours veg garden, then home to cook tea and test our homegrown plum wine. (Verdict, not as nice as English Heritage's!)

This is the baroque interior of Witley Church, featuring an organ apparently used by Handel for a number of his compositions. There was a chap practising for this evening recital. Really like the ornateness of the church, not so sure about the music...
