... and I'm willing to bet these toilets in Bristo Square are too.

A morning of pottering, then went to meet Parky to see Stuart: A Life Backwards. I read the book a few years ago and loved it, but both of us had major issues with this production, not least that the main character, Stuart, has muscular dystrophy, but was played (extremely convincingly) by an actor who didn't. I'm certain there are dozens of actors with disabilities who would have been just as good, if not better, in the role, and it left us feeling rather uncomfortable. Hmmm. Also, we thought the other actors were pretty poor and the writing was flat and over-long. But the Guardian gave it four stars, so what do we know...
