...I had remembered to take a spare battery.

Big night in the local village tonight as after the gala there was a fire walk. I was in the right place a to get a good view, not easy when you are vertically challenged. Took a few shots of the organisers raking the coals before the locals made their fire walk attempt...then phut. NO BATTERY. Sh*t no spare.

Sorry Canal Cairnbaan no shots of you doing the fire walk. Well done anyway, you did it!
