Grilled Pizza

This was our first attempt at pizza made on the grill. Several years ago, we began the tradition of making a pizza every weekend with leftovers from the week as toppings. (Some are better than others, but all are good) I saw a cooking show where they were making pizzas on the grill, so we tried their method today.
The main difference is the crust. We much prefer thin crispy crust, and usually bake them on a pizza stone. This one was also thin but even crispier because it was cooked directly on the grill. I always make pesto out of basil or spinach or cilantro or a combination. For this one we grilled corn then cut it off the cob. Added tomatoes, mushrooms, fried onions, chorizo, leftover broccoli, cauliflower, and snow peas, all from the garden. Oh, and some cheddar cheese with a tiny bit of gorgonzola. Eat your heart out, Pizza Hut!
