Nemisis

After 1 day I hate this bloody machine!!
It was all going well until last night :-( got loads of colostrum out yesterday morning and quite a bit until mid afternoon. So they started Isaac on it which had made him a very very happy boy even though he's only on a very small feed (0.5 mls every other hour).
At midnight SCBU rang and said they needed more and since then all I've got is a few tiny drops :-( I'm hoping after breakfast I might be able to get more out.

Both boys are doing wonderfully.

Elliot was coming off his IV drip last night as his blood sugar seems to have stabilised, hope that's still the cast when I go up, he's on a full feed of nutra prem (at 2 days old!!), they were a bit concerned he was looking jaundice as he was mega pink with that under lying yellow tone so he may have to go under the uv light, but later there was talk of him moving down to the nursery (OMG!! Well done baby).

Isaac is enjoying what little milk I can give him, his stats have stabilised, he's still on IV fluids. And we may try him actually on the breast today (poor boy will be there hours!!).

Hopefully both boys can come off the stats monitors as heart rate, breathing and saturation are all stable.
