Do you laugh or cry?

Some months (or years?) ago, Mr PP bought a ticket from London Paddington to Totnes, Devon. Ever since then, each Friday night, First Great Western text him updates on the travel conditions on the trainline between PAD and TOT - whether he's travelling or (more often) not.

But when a text message like this drops into your mobile ... as it did to Mr PP's last Friday ... what do you make of it? It had to be preserved before deleting. Do they not think about what they're saying before they press 'send'?

Haven't seen the news at all this weekend, local or otherwise, so don't know what happened or to whom or why. Just these strange, detached words ... which read horribly like a sick joke.
