I had a bit of a late night last night, I'm on a tight schedule at the minute so I needed to get yesterday's wedding downloaded and culled before bed. I think I got to sleep at about 4.30am, and was up again at 8am to get another wedding blogged before lunchtime. So I'll admit that I wasn't feeling 100% motivated for this afternoon's engagement shoot!

But as always, life has a way of surprising you, and I ended up really enjoying it. The couple were very nervous, but I quickly realised that they had the one magic ingredient that makes any shoot easy - they think I'm funny (I know, a miracle!). We were laughing and joking from the start as if we knew each other for ages, and that makes such a difference. I drove the long journey home with a smile on my face.

I don't want to subject you to another boring work shot of a random couple that means nothing to you, so here's a boring shot of a bride's mother feeding some chickens instead. Look at yesterday's blip instead, it's better :)
