Myrtle

We bought this myrtle plant on honeymoon in Sardinia nearly 6 years ago. We have never before seen its flowers. (If I'm honest, I didn't even realise it was supposed to have flowers!) It was a nice surprise to find it looking so happy in one of the overgrown corners of our garden.

Have had another lovely weekend. Lazy day yesterday, followed by an afternoon/evening barbecue at a friend's house, with lots of other friends from Little G's pre-school. Good times (even if we were the lightweights of the party and came home soon after 8).

Today an early start to watch Mr G and his mum take to the waters again, then a quick trip to a play park before accompanying Little G to a birthday party.

And now only 4 more sleeps until holidays - yee haa! Actually, more like 3.5, given the ungodly time we will have to leave on Thursday to catch our flight. A worthwhile sacrifice, I think.
