Heritage Tour
Today, we went on a heritage tour of our local area in a vintage open-top bus, something we’ve never done before. The tour took two hours and since the weather was bright and sunny the whole experience was most enjoyable and informative. Neither Jeff nor I actually come from Keighley and even though we’ve learned a fair amount of the history of the area over the years, this was still a totally fascinating tour, certainly another on my list of ‘enjoyable things to do again’. In the picture, the vintage bus is parked outside our local Ingrow Museum of Rail Travel, owned by the Vintage Carriages Trust, while the passengers were allowed a few minutes to quickly go round the museum or to visit Ingrow Loco, owned by the Bahamas Locomotive Society, or Ingrow Station itself, all of which are situated together within the station complex.
