Hard driving

I bought a third external hard drive today so now I can remove all the pictures littering my laptop's drive and still retain 2 copies and still have another for bitting and bobbing. My file keeping is terrible - I've probably got six versions of the same pictures in various forgotten folders
Seagate Freeagent/Go - great little portable whatsits with built-in backup software.
Hang on, I've just started getting delayed write failure messages popping up. Maybe this one's a dud.
I see my other hard drive is a year old - and it was raining then!
