On that baking Saturday, we piled on ancient explorer's garments and posed for Greenpeace ~ a small gesture of support to mark their 'Save the Arctic' campaign..

My friend Ruth kindly lingered about for a few more excruciatingly baking seconds to allow me to take a picture of my own.

Then, for the next twenty hours or so, we allowed Glastonbury to unravel and tickle our souls ~ for who knows what happened.
