Forest

Each of these lanterns is going to house a tomatillo. This is my first year of growing them and they've turned into a veritable forest! Unlike ordinary tomatoes, they grow happily outside and these are now almost head height. I've no idea what they'll taste like but I'll let you know :-)

These are one of James Wong's recommendations and I'm a bit of a fan of his. he's trying to get us all to try more unusual edible plants so I've also got asparagus peas, cucamelons and inca berries (otherwise known as physalis, those orange berries in paper lanterns you see garnishing puddings in posh restaurants!)
