Grey, blustery, showery, feeling autumnal...

Spent most of the day drawing a habitat map...

While out dog-walking I aas very surprised to find this flowering chicory Cichorium intybus at Ferry Meadows.

Especially as it was less than 10cm tall - dwarfed by rabbit grazing. The wonders of phenoplasticity! ;)
