Sunday funday

A full day of just us today, family of 4. We took the babies to Alton Towers waterpark.
It was so lovely the sun was shining so the dome was so bright, it made it feel like we were outside somewhere tropical.
We havent been for 8 months so it was all new again for Caleb, he was a little wary at first but soon warmed up (in more ways than one)
Erin went with daddy on the water works, lots of climbing, water falling, spraying and fun. She loves that bit well as long as you guard her from the the water falling.
We took a trip around the lazy river (twice) Caleb loved pointing at all the water spraying and falling but I didnt temp fate but going under them with him.
Erin was desperate to go on the flumes so me and her went on while mark and Caleb waited at the bottom in the outdoor pool (!) it consisted of two fast flumes with a wading pool in the middle which was surprisingly deep, im in no doubt tall but I had to hold erin right up while having to compose myself again. she thought this was hilarious and couldn't wait to go down the next one.
We had lunch so the babies could warm up a bit, blue lips isn't a good look. But as soon as they had finished they couldn't wait to get back in.
We did notice something quite scary with Erin she seems to have forgot everything she once learned at puddle ducks, it's been 9 months which I suppose its a lifetime for a 3 year old. She walked up to the main pool which does have a gradual slope at one side but this part didnt and went to just step in!! Once upon a time she would of instantly sat down and lowered her self in. So this means lots more swimming session before holiday!

BUT it had been a lovely day and makes me want our holiday to come quicker!
