my gift

i usually exhibit fine art nudes but recently decided to venture out into a new yet unfamiliar world of photography. i thought still life photography wasn't challenging enough. maybe because the subject didnt mean anything to me or it was just plain, "too easy". thinking outside of my comfort zone was a struggle.

funny how inspiration can come unexpectedly because when i received these flowers, it caused a spark inside. i had to photo these beautiful white gifts!
ahhh, that was the key. they meant something.

so i've decided to do a daily series of these white mums. not sure how long they'll last, but i'll try to keep it going... at least until they meet God.
