R is for Relaxing.....

On Lake Winnipesaukee. We took Logan and Akira on a little cruise around the Big Lake today - kind of a pre-back to college family event. Akira was thrilled, Logan a little less so, but the 40 cent wings when we got back to the beach were somewhat of a consolation. The day was kind of overcast but warm and the sun could still be felt so though it was warm, it was not a great photo day.

This is one of many small islands (the smallest) on the lake where there is only boat access and all but 8 of the island homes are just for summer use. I'm not sure how big the lake is but it does completely freeze down to 2-3 feet in the winter and there are bob houses for winter fishing and trucks parked all over it.
