Dahlias and Daisies

Today was very busy at work. Rachel and I didn't get out for lunch until 3:00 p.m. so I decided, "The heck with it!" and went to the nursery to buy some flowers. The sun disappeared, the fog came in and I couldn't close down until 5:30 but then Rachel and I had such fun getting dirty and planting all the flowers together. (We were together - the flowers we planted in different spots) We were out working in our little yard until about 8:30 and the mist came in and got us all damp. Then we went upstairs to eat leftovers which tasted like the finest cuisine by that time! We each had a glass of wine and toasted ourselves for a job well done. All in all...a perfect day as usual!
