ALL TUCKED UP
Bought this from a friend at our Art in the Garden event and am totally converted to this environmentally friendly "appliance". I cooked up my soup and then placed the pot with lid firmly on in this colourful cushioned bag. Similar to the hay box it conserves heat and acts like a slow cooker.
I have cooked brown rice successfully. Normally I would steam it for about 40 minutes. I boiled it fiercely for about 10 min and then left it in the bag for 2 hours. Perfectly cooked! Then I tried rice pudding and it was equally successful although I will put in more liquid next time. Any other ideas gratefully received.
