Good Crop

It's going to be a very good year for apples we heard on the radio at the weekend. Apparently a wet Autumn, cold winter and a hot summer is just what apples like. Certainly this is going to be the best apple crop at the allotment that we have had for a while.
This tree is a double graft, with cookers on the bottom and eating apples at the top. These are the eating apples called James Grieves.
