Salsa

Part II of the lighting course so we've moved on from the practical technicians' side to that of the lighting designer. A day in the classroom today; angles, colour theory, starting from the script, how to talk to directors etc etc. I realised that I understood every bit of the process EXCEPT how to actually achieve the effect I want. The reverse of most of the others on the course but hey it's only one hole to fill. Just a very large one. Roll on the next 2 days.

Yet another sensibly chosen sedentary evening option - how to take photos in the theatre - co-run by Squiffy by the Sea. Point 1 seems to be to actually have a camera. Yeah, I know! The saving pot is started. It just might take a VERY long time.

And then there was salsa in the bar. Or in my case drinking* in the bar.

* I sound slightly less hardcore when I admit it was lime and sodas this evening. I may even have had a relatively early night. Slightly too much beer and singing yesterday evening = knackered today and I have to work at height again tomorrow.
