Memorial

This is work in progress for the memorial to King Father Norodom Sihanouk of Cambodia. There is the familiar sight here of workmen balancing precariously on scaffolding! It's being erected in a lovely open space in Phnom Penh, opposite the popular Java Cafe.

His death had a profound effect on the people of Cambodia and he held the Guinness Book of Records for holding the greatest variety of political offices.
Let's hope it's a fitting memorial but not so big that it ruins the view from the cafe!!
