Spangle

I've been painting walls today and when I finally stopped, I thought I should find something different to blip but was at a bit of a loss. The 2 wax cap types on my lawn are still there, but the one I mentioned (Spangle waxcap) but didn't blip is so tiny (8mm across) that I thought it might be fun to capture it, or at least a part of it under my usb microscope. You can see the widely spaced gills which is fairly typical of many waxcaps.
Looking forward to tomorrow, as I am meeting up with my friend and all-round wildlife expert, Roger. We are leading a foray locally on Saturday so we are doing a reccy to see what's around and where is the best area to take our group. Fingers crossed for some good finds.
