Flying with Emirates

My sister-in-law, Mum and I travelled into London today. First a walk up the hill and then the tube. An hour later we were at London Bridge. We did a tour of Southwark Cathedral, visited the Golden Hinde and the ruins of Winchester Palace, walked through Borough market, stood at the base of the Shard, crossed London Bridge and viewed Tower Bridge, then walked to my brother's "new" office.

After a tour of the office my brother treated us to a meal at a Japanese restaurant. The four of us then caught the Docklands Light Railway to Royal Victoria, crossed the river on the Emirates Cable Car and returned along the river by the Catamaran Water Taxi (the one in blue at the bottom of this picture), dropping my brother off at Tower to return to work while we continued to Embankment to catch the tube home. A great day!

The thumbnail indicates it is a year since I went on my first LPH workshop and therefore the count down to the day I joined blip!

UPDATE
I can't cancel Egypt. Some excursions are running. I'll have to wait until I get there to find out what is possible. Good to know the Navy are setting sail so they are nearby to rescue British Nationals if needed!!!
