Vondelpark

This is my attempt at a bit of wildlife photography. This heron was in Vondelpark doing a spot of fishing. I was crouched down for ages waiting for the moment to happen. I even sacrificed blood flow to my feet to try and capture him fishing. Just wish I had packed my zoom lens!

Other than that we had a nice day. Went to the Van Gogh museum (out of interest, why do people feel the need to take photos of paintings, it's very odd), wandered around the park had a few beers and then ate too much for dinner again!
