Thought these were two sparrows, but if you look large, the back one has a long pointed beak.
Any ideas what it could be?

We had a wonderful day at the garden party yesterday.
It was raining when we got there, but fortunately out hosts had put a marquee up!

We started with champagne, to go with the canapés.
Our chairman loves a bargain!
The champagne was from Aldi. Veuve Monsigny. Brut. by Philizot £12.99!
It won a silver medal at the International Wine Challenge 2013. Was said to be better than Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame.....which cost £130.

The highlight for us was the arrival of our oldest member W who had her 100th birthday in March!! ( brought by two of her neighbours)
She looked lovely, and was as bright as a button.
She came over to MrC and said she hadn't forgotten we were kind enough to take her home from a meeting once. That was about 6 years ago!!
Just shows what a glass of wine a day does for you!!
