Playa La Ropa Patterns

I liked the arrangement of this washed up palm frond and water streaked sand, sharp angled fronds positioned against the rounded patterns in the sand. I was lining up to take an artistic photo, envisioning black and white, high contrast processing, when a gentle wave appeared at the top of the frame. I quickly captured the image before it vanished for good. Post processing didn't work out as planned, I realized I liked the tones better in color (though I would have liked a bit more snap in the wave line).
