Happy first wedding anniversary!

It's hard to believe that it's been a who year since Nat and I got married. And what an amazing year it's been.

The first year is paper and in the traditional fashion we exchanged paper gifts.

We did have a bet on that whoevers gift was better then the other person would have to do the cleaning when we got home. (Nat hasn't mentioned this since we got back so I can only assume that means mine was better and she doesn't want to do the cleaning...)

I gave Nat a photo book which had a photo of us taken on every day of our honeymoon and Nat got me a jigsaw map of where we got married and the pieces spelt out 'I love you'.

To be honest hers was the smarter gift.

We spent the morning putting it together, it was quite a challenge as most of it is made up or roads.

'Do you have the bit with a yellow line and a black line Rubin g through it?'...

We were also racing against the clock as we had to complete it before checkout, we had to!

As you can see we managed it, just in time.

On the way back to Edinburgh we stopped off at Hopetoun House for lunch. It looked very different to this time last year and being there brought back all the happy memories.
