Desaturation.
Spent a day training in the basement of my office today. Hmm. The stuffiness and artificial light really made my head ache - as well as the subject matter being difficult to understand and (by its own nature) being quite dry. Luckily the speaker was ace and really made the slides more interesting to read - she also helped me to understand maths, so she probably deserves some sort of medal.
Both M and I are feeling considerably less sniffly and rubbish at the moment, so I think we'll be OK for the Autumn Ball tomorrow! M picked up his kilt today from the hire place; I do love seeing him in one and I'm glad he chose it over a suit. I must post a photo of us both dressed up tomorrow.
This evening M and I made ourselves a quick tea then had a cosy-up on the sofa while I caught up with a few Blippers. Later I began my preparations for the Ball - I sorted my hair, gave myself a bit of a facial and put on a bit of fake tan (I am awfully day-glo white at the moment). When I got into bed M wrinkled his nose up at the smell of my tan - how do people wear that stuff all the time? It makes a total mess of the sheets. Last time I put a bit of tan on, M only noticed halfway through the next day that one of his arms and one of his hands were brown - he'd had his arm around me and it had rubbed off on him! Tonight there was strictly no hugs - we lay as far apart from each other as possible and hopefully M will remain un-tanned :)
P.s. This is at 100% saturation. It was just a really grey day here today...
