What are you doing taking pictures of mess?

Recently purchased a Canon 60D with 18-55mm kit lens. My first DSLR. And already I'm taking pictures of mess. I think a lot of my blips are going to be mess, because when I get home I'm not very good at doing anything other than having dinner and sitting on the sofa. The inside of my flat will remain much the same but mess is always unique. Like a snowflake made from crap. Must venture out to take pictures of the outside world before the light fades.
