Ignitor and Stump Smash...

My son's third birthday is coming up and he wanted some Skylanders. He loves the games (probably as much as his brother who is nearly 7), but I've only just noticed that Skylanders are for 6+!

At nearly three, he is competent with the Nintendo Wii controller, understands the concept of the games, knows all the elements and characters, as well as most of the maps for most of the levels.

We haven't encouraged him, if anything we discourage screen time, in favour of more creative or physical activities.

Nevertheless he likes Skylanders and my sister gave us an Amazon voucher to buy his present from her. When we saw my sister over the weekend, he told her "You buy me Ig-er-nitor and Stump Smash", which of course she had.
