Thankless task of Motherhood

Gave the kids a new magnetic calendar thing with choices for each day of: day, date, month, weather and 'occasion'.

New school shoes and socks for the girl, I think that's the uniform nailed for the new school year.

New underpants for the boy, who chose George Pig over Fireman Sam - flummoxed!

A shop at the BIG Tesco as requested by chidlers, sometimes they give odd requests.

Dinner in McDonalds and Smurf toys in their happy meal boxes.

An hour and a half of TV.

Swimming for the girl...

By the evening they were pushing it with the utter absence of thank you's all day. I laid down the law. This is the house of Mummy-appreciation from here on in! (The hormones may have played a part in the laying down of the law, I'll be softer again in the morning!)
