Life with The Pinks

By suzypink

Parties, giraffes, paintings.

It's been a very busy day. It started with four loads of washing all washed and out on the line by 10.30 - you may bow down to my washerwoman skills! Another 2 or 3 little jobs ticked off while Master Pink chatted to Hammy, and Miss Pink played in her bedroom.
At 11.30 we headed to town for a birthday party for a friend of Master Pinks. I brought miss Pink along to join in as it was at a soft play.
After the party we went into the town itself in search of some more Giraffes. We found a cluster of Giraffes on the north side of town that we'd missed the first time round. We also popped into the shop where my crafty bits are sold. It was the first time Master Pink had been in, and he was really interested in how it all worked. He also made a comment that the mummies who make things are very clever. We replenished some stock and then went off Giraffe hunting again.
At the arts facility in Colchester there were four giraffes, we've never been there before so it was a good experience for us all. It was interesting listening to the opinions of the mini pinks about the art on display. They liked the Roman mosaic more than the modern art paintings, and the taps in the bathrooms more than the art installation! They also liked the cafe!
