Tiger

Had several productive meetings today, and I mean that in at least two senses of the word. First met with Tiger, Rachael, and Brian (all of whom are also on blip!) and gave a presentation to the new grad students about the EGSA. Had a great time and watched some clips from The Room. The above is Tiger, striking a heroic pose. You can glimpse Rachael in the reflection of the painting, sort of like a bemused guardian angel.

Then I met my new office mates, who are very cool. After some good conversation, we rearranged our office to fit four people. It was a bit of work, but it came out looking great. I've also finished lesson planning for this week and next, and less a few more meetings, I'm ready for the semester to begin.

A busy week ahead. I'm stressed out a bit, but I secretly love this time of year.

EDIT: In the interest of full disclosure, I should probably mention that one version of this had a Hitler Charlie Chaplin Bea Arthur mustache drawn on.
