Food for Thought

This was an accidental photo that unintentionally is the funniest photo ever. Sorry Rory! It was too good not to blip.

I had a crazy busy social day today. It began with brunch at Rachel's house - we all brought something and had a good catch up and a lot of food. Almost all of us were there, we only missed Amita, so it was a really great morning and it was lovely to see everyone.

There was a BBQ later that day for Evan's birthday, so Phoebe, Julia and I went back to Phoebe's to wait for Rory so we could all go together. We got to the BBQ just as the food was ready but thanks to brunch we were all crazy full so I didn't end up eating much. It was nice to see everyone though, it's the first time I've hung out with them since we got back from Phillip Island so it's been a while.

I had such a nice day but it was pretty exhausting so I ended up trying not to doze off in front of Lord of the Rings after dinner.

This photo looks really soulful - in the words of Phoebe, it looks like someone sitting on a park bench on a blustery day pondering life. In fact it's Rory looking a bit sad about the fact that he's wearing Phoebe's pink pom-pom scarf.
