To say I am proud of what happens in my garden is often an understatement. Many things in life give me a huge amount of satisfaction and senses of achievement but only the lovely R gives me more inner peace and "at one-ness" (gosh I am sounding hippy)

Anyway, like R, my garden seems to be fruiting well this year. I've had a few failures but a lot more successes and we're in glut on most things and not only that things are tasting good, lovely and disease free. I've tried butternuts for the last few years and this was going to be the last as all I have ever got is one or two mediocre fruits. This year I am going to have a fair few kg and some are huge. I do wonder how much it is down to the gardener and how much is down to the garden?
