The low red boat tied up at the Jalsea boat yard (originally Pimlotts boat yard).
The boat is one of the Manchester Ship Canal company grain barge tug boats used on the Bridgewater and Manchester ship canal routes till some time in 2000.
It was taking on water, up to the deck line whilst moored at Acton Bridge, so had to be brought up and taken out for repairs
