Last night

After many hours on the road we finally arrived at our last abode of the trip. This tent sleeps six in different rooms, has two bathrooms, kitchen, boma and Jacuzzi! It is in the Shakila Private Game Reserve between Modimolle and Bela Bela. That's Nylstroom and Warmbaths for the traditionalists .

Looking down we spied some waterbuck, who seemed oblivious to us, and a multitude of birds (some of whom tried to raid the kitchen!) kept us busy with binoculars trying to figure out who was who.

A cheeky wee stroganoff and a bottle of fab red led to a reasonably early night listening to the sounds of silence.

Home tomorrow to see the hairy hooligans. It is always great to get their raucous welcome. What a fantastic trip it has been!
